Keep your reviews relevant and helpful to travelers – keep in mind they are reading your review to understand what an experience with the business might be like. For this reason, please don’t include any personal opinions about politics, ethics, religion or wider social issues.   If you have a question or comment for VietnamSearch about our moderation policies, you can contact us via the Help Center. Questions directed to property owners or other travelers will be removed. If you do have a question or comment for VietnamSearch users, you can post in our forums. In addition, each property has a questions and answers feature on their listing – post your questions to property owners there!

Unbiased

Reviews are most helpful when they provide unbiased advice. We don't allow individuals or entities who own or are affiliated with a property to post reviews of their business or competing establishments. Reviews submitted in an attempt to blackmail a listing will not be published. If you suspect a review is fake or doesn't meet VietnamSearch’s posting guidelines, you can use the “Report Problem with Review” feature located at the bottom of each review.

First-Hand

Our community wants to hear about your experience. This means no second-hand information, rumors, or quotations from other sources. Please, only provide reviews based on substantial experiences you’ve had and be sure to include enough detail in your review that other travelers will find your advice helpful.

We have a required character count for reviews — fill up the space with details about your trip and and do not include extra characters or spaces.

Submissions must relate directly to the property to which it is submitted, so please ensure you are submitting your content to the correct listing on VietnamSearch. If you post content to a specific business on our site it must be for an accommodation, restaurant, attraction or airline that meets our listing requirements. Although cruise listings are available on VietnamSearch, all reviews are imported from users should access this website to post their comments. To keep content fresh for our readers, we ask that you stick to writing about experiences that occurred within the current calendar year or up to two calendar years prior.

Based on short-term stays

We welcome you to share your thoughts on any stay that is 90 days or less.

Relevant to travelers

Keep in mind that our reviews are intended to help travelers with their vacation plans – as such, we kindly ask that you stick to writing about vacation rentals only. That means no reviews on corporate, interim, transitional or temporary housing.

Written after check-in

We kindly ask that you write about your experiences after you check in to your vacation rental. To help ensure authenticity in our reviews, we currently don’t accept submissions that occur during the reservation process or before arrival at the property.

Verifiable by the name on the rental contract

To help ensure authenticity in our reviews, you will be asked to enter the name of the person in your party who signed the lease agreement. (This required field appears at the top of the Write a Review form). NOTE: We do not share this name publicly on our site.

Can be documented by rental owner

If a vacation rental owner cannot confirm that a reviewer was a guest, we send the guest a request for documentation. This is simply to ensure that the correct owner and property is credited for your review.

When rental owners remove their listings from one of these services, their VietnamSearch rental listings are removed as well.
