Vung Tau Beach, also known as Thuy Van Beach, is one of the beaches known for its clear blue beauty of cool water and the smoothness of the stretch of white sand that creates a strange attraction. There are countless wonderful experiences that you shouldn't miss.

1. Brief outline of Vung Tau Beach

Vung Tau beach (Thuy Van beach) is one of the famous beaches in Vung Tau located on the East Coast of the city. Vung Tau beach is only about 14km from the city center, starting from Nho Mountain at T-junction of Thuy Van Street to Chi Linh area. With a convenient geographical location, you can easily move and use the services here without too much difficulty.

Every afternoon, the sun began to set gradually, but did not forget to leave a little red light in the distance, reddening the whole sky, creating a beautiful space. The sound of the rustling wind and the gentle lapping of the ocean waves creates a scene that is both lively and charming, truly indescribable.

2. Ideal time to experience Vung Tau Beach

Vung Tau beach (Thuy Van beach) belongs to the tropical climate zone, so the atmosphere is always warm, giving a very pleasant feeling, making everyone want to stay here forever. The moment of walking walking the warm tropical sun, listening to the murmur of the waves and the salty taste of the sea will make you fall in love with this city.

To own that great "combo", you should come here on a quiet day to enjoy your own private space. Especially, you should avoid weekends or holidays because the number of people flocking here at that time is quite crowded. Vung Tau beach will wear different beauties at every moment, but no matter what, you will still be able to admire the magnificent beauty here at any time.

3. Explore fun places in Vung Tau Beach

3.1. Vung Tau Beach Square

Vung Tau Beach Square is the most famous check-in place in Vung Tau beach, where there are many colorful flagpoles. Vung Tau Beach Square is a gathering place for a large number of people and tourists. Just have a photo with flagpoles in Vung Tau Beach Square, everyone knows you've arrived in Vung Tau. An extremely popular place for young people.

Vung Tau Beach Square is circular, spacious and airy. On both sides, there are also dense rows of nipa palm trees, which is an ideal check-in place for virtual living believers.

3.2. The Statue of Christ the King

Looking from the bottom up, you will see a statue of God. Coming to the most unique tourist destination of Vung Tau, you will have a chance to see the beautiful coastal city from above.

Located on the top of Nho Mountain, this majestic architecture reproduces the spectacular view of the 32m-high Christ statue in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. With enchanting scenery, this is definitely an ideal place to have fun during your trip to Vung Tau. This place receives positive feedback and comments from guests when they come here.

The statue of Christ the King is open to visitors from 7 am to 5 pm, so make time to admire this wonderful beauty!

3.3. Vung Tau Lighthouse

Located not far from the Statue of Christ the King, Vung Tau Lighthouse is a must-see destination for young people. As a symbol of the coastal city, this place is visited by many tourists to enjoy the cool breeze of the sea, to see the full view of the beautiful coastal city, and to admire the famous statue of Christ in the midst of the deep blue sky.

3.4. Nghinh Phong Cape

Nghinh Phong Cape is likened to an arm stretching out to the sea, forming two large beaches to the West and East. This is a place where visitors can enjoy the sunrise and sunset views over the sea.

In addition, the special feature of this place is the "sky gate" - the virtual living sanctuary of young people. True to its name, the gate opens up a poetic view of clear sky clouds and a vast sea, enough to captivate anyone who comes to Vung Tau. This place is considered one of the most ideal destinations.

3.5. White Rabbit Park

Coming to Vung Tau city, you shouldn't miss White Rabbit Park because this is an ideal recreational area for young people and families with young children.

Outstanding with the Japanese style design, rich and diverse game system, you freely immerse yourself in the emotional world: from thrill, excitement with adventure games, to fun, comfortable with traditional and folk games. After having a good time, you can recharge more energy at the restaurant and cafe area with a full of delicious, nutritious dishes with rich regional flavors.

Recommend a place on the must-visit list when spending the evening in Vung Tau: night market. The market starts selling at 17:30 and closes at 00:30, and on Tet holidays, booths can be open until morning. Some good stalls here sell a lot of fresh seafood and some souvenirs.

You can come here to enjoy Vung Tau's famous specialty dishes at affordable and extremely affordable prices that fit your budget. Suggesting to you that Banh Khot is extremely famous here, you must definitely try it.

In addition to the some fun places above, there are also famous places like Pig Hill, Hon Ba and beautiful Bau Sen Lake, Abandoned House, Bar Clubs, etc.

Although very familiar, Vung Tau beach has always had a special attraction, attracting a large number of tourists. Perhaps because of the quiet beauty of the sea, the blue sky and endless shoals of sand remain beautiful over time. If you want to go somewhere to relieve your stress and worries, Vung Tau beach is always the best choice. Let's enjoy this place and save the wonderful feelings.

Night at the beach
Great place for a night time walk. Night life on the beach front is exciting, plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Right down the street from the Diamond Sea hotel.

Conditions do vary
My high rating because the sea was a good place to cool off. The conditions of the water do vary. Some days, later in the week, the water can be quite clear and almost blue. But after crowded Saturdays the water is rather skungy due to the massive amount of rubbish the Saigon-ites leeave behind on the beach. My wife and I did quite a few pick ups (including used paper nappies washing up on Sundays). Do remember you have to pay for the seating. Great to go beach walking for about ten kilometers and people watch, especially the canny metetal detectorists. At low tide you can walk over to the temple on the island. A loud siren goes off at the public beach at 6pm, indicating the water is supposed to be closed for swimmer. Flood lights come on 'till 9pm. The promenarde by the flag poles is where all the night time action is, eg, street dancing, etc.

A good beach life
If you whant to awoid the crowd stay at Ha Long 66, or around that area just by the shore of the Vietnamese sea with the endless ocean right out side. Dayley swim at 06.00 with meny locals. Aver all a good place for Seafood. If you like the crowd, stay in the city, just like any other crowded city in SEA, at least during New Year in end of january.

A worthy place to visit. Standing at the hill of Vung Tau Beach area. The Christ’s Statue cannot be missed. His open arms are receiving every single one that walks up the hill. You can climb inside the statue & see the beautiful view of the Vung Tau Beach & City.

Beachside charm of Vung Tau
We spend three days in Vung Tau as a mini getaway from Saigon. It was my first time here while my friend had been here multiple times before being a Saigonese local. I loved the beach side charm and slower pace of life with long walks on soft sandy beaches. The town & beach area reminded me of a smaller version of Da Nang, another place that I really love. There are a lot of delicious local restaurants and some truly fabulous seafood ones right on the ocean side. Overall Vung Tau did not disappoint. I can see why it is such a popular vacation spot for people from Saigon.
