About Thai Binh

Dubbed as "the homeland of rice", Thai Binh is no stranger to the greenest paddy fields, small charming villages, festivals, and cultural & historical relics associated with wet rice civilization in Red River Mekong Delta. Feel a really tranquil, free from noise atmosphere while walking along winding roads and get to know farming techniques here.

Stirring scenery of rice fields and historical significance aside, Thai Binh has a stretch of 52-km coastline entirely remaining clean and beautiful. As a consequence, this semi-rural province has the potentials to become a promising tourist destination in the North.

Keo Pagoda

Founded by a monk in 1061, Keo Pagoda is famous for being an integral part of the old settlement, which was ruled by the Tran clan who became a dynasty. Historians believe that Thai Binh City’s oldest origins can be traced back to the pagoda. Today, it’s become a local and national relic where visitors can tour the gardens, tower, and main temple.

Dong Xam Temple

To the east of the city, Dong Xam Temple and the Silver Carving Village have become some of the most popular tourist attractions. Preserving ancient culture, the village and temple are both open throughout the year. Still used for daily worship, the temple’s ornate tower is an architectural marvel that draws visitors.

Dong Chau Beach

30km from Thai Binh City, Dong Chau Beach is a pristine and mesmerizing beach partly enclosed by green trees. In addition to fresh air and clear beach water, accommodation and dining services nearby Dong Chau Beach are also very reasonable, alluring many visitors, especially families.
